Jasmine Rae Performs 'Mothers Pride' by George Michael

Following Channel Nine's airing of the 'George Michael - Freedom' documentary earlier this week, Jasmine Rae recorded and filmed an intimate performance of George's song 'Mothers Pride' this week.

'Mothers Pride' appears on the album Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1, which was released in 1991.

The documentary celebrates George's life, documents his personal struggles and battle with with his record company Sony Music and of course celebrates his amazing music.

" "It’s like he had one or two layers of skin missing… he bruised easier and was able to share that sensitivity with the world," said James Corden on the 'George Michael - Freedom' documentary on Channel 9 last night.

I can relate, I’m sure I’m not the only one. I’m very grateful to have viewed this documentary at this time in my life. Hearing about George Michael’s struggles and triumphs, his strengths and weaknesses as a person in his own words and those of his peers was an eye opener," said Jasmine Rae on her Facebook page.

"He put so much care and purpose into the songs he recorded and performed. He did it for the love of creating and connecting."

"I felt so inspired by it that after the show I recorded and filmed his beautiful song ‘Mothers Pride.’

I hope I did it justice," she said.
